The black and pink cover belongs to the original, self-published version, and the cover you see above is for the traditionally published edition (set for publication in February 2027 by Pan Macmillan.)

The heart of the story is still very much the same, but there have been some changes to the traditionally published version, including the addition of 12,000 words! If you have a chance to read, I highly recommend picking up the updated story.

The audiobook currently reflects the indie published version. While I'm very proud of it, please note that there have been a few updates to the underlying world building and lore. This means you may notice some small discrepancies in continuity when you listen to the second book. That said, you can still absolutley enjoy the indie version of the story.
